Infiltration

I decided I'd just do a summary of the past few days instead of posting every day.

So, the day after my last entry I went down to a park (Greenbrier), to check out the creek as it looked to head to town. There was a guy walking his dog, but that was it as it was early morning. The creek had a fence around it, but that didn't stop me. I squeezed through the gap inbetween the gate (a pretty tight squeeze), then realized that I'd left my bike on the other side. So back I go, and I chuck my bike over hoping it would hang by its pedal. Then it fell down and the front tire brake snapped (not the first time that's happened hopping a fence either). So my only good brake was broken, so what? I figured I'd just keep walking. The creek went on, until I found the stone foundation of an abandoned house. Unfortunately, there were too many friggin' thorns, and I couldn't get through, so back I go. Then I noticed all these men in orange suits walking around at the park. I should've noticed the worker's trucks over there before I went in. I guess they were doing work on the park and I'd just come over when they got in for their jobs. I didn't want to risk getting caught, so I ran by the fence and went the other way. There was a path back there. I think utility workers use it, as there were sewer manholes all along. After a while I saw a highway above the woods, and I decided that climbing up there was the best way out. So up I climb, with my huge bike, pushing my way up through the thorns and snakeholes. Then my bike fell down, and I had to go through the whole thing again. Finally I forced my way through the last barrier of thorns. All I had then was the two mile walk home. Overall, a learning experience, if nothing else (oh yeah, did I mention it was raining and there was no sidewalk next to the highway?).

The next thing that happened was me and my dad going to Emmet St. Drain. It was pretty fun, hard to describe though (there was concrete pipe, then it turned, then there was more concrete pipe). My dad did bring his harmonica though, and it sounded very cool in the drain. There was also a ton of porno graf in it (bad stuff), and in one side tunnel an arrow pointing, under which was written "Whorehouse". Maybe it led to girl's dormitories? There were some other tags too: two talking about "Bobb" (with an extra "B") in 1974, and one entitled "The Warriors". These were all terrible tags, nothing special. On the way back we turned our flashlights off and walked in complete darkness (with the occasional flicker to make sure we weren't running into a wall).

And, that was pretty much it. I'm going to Cemetary Drain next weekend, possibly with my dad, possibly with tick (or we might go to Wetnut 29). I'm curious whether there's slime on the walls where it passes under the graveyard, like when Ninj went in Park St. Drain (I think that was the one).
