The Missing Link

As I have mentioned before, there are two separate tunnel systems in Fredericton, The Fredericton tunnel System, and The UNB Tunnel System. However, it has been rumored, and all but proven, that the two tunnel systems are linked. (My friend Bailey, has alot of information about this, and will post it as soon as he is let in)

We have been looking for a way down to the city for quite sometime, but no link was found.

There are three places that we have yet to explore where there could be a link.

1) LBR
This is the most likely place to find a link for several reasons. Its among the oldest buildings on campus, and since the fredericton tunnels were made before most of the buildings were on campus (the FTS being made pre-1960, and the buildings being post-1960)this would be a likely linking point. Next, the LBR door, is really banged up according to Bailey and Aitken. No other door on campus is banged up the way this one is, suggesting that people tried pretty hard to get it open.

Lady Beaverbrook Gym
This is a less likely place to find a link but it's also the closest building to the city. Its construction is pre 60's giving some merit to the idea that it could be a linked building. However, the tunnel link to LB Gym takes you directly into the building and not into a basement. All doors are locked, meaning that exploration of the building is impeded by locks.

The Mysterious East Side
This is the least likely place to find a linkage point. We can't even find a link to the tunnels that exist over on that side of campus let alone, believe there is a linkage to fredericton tunnels there. However, it is an area that we haven't explored, which leaves the possibility of a link.

There also is the possibility that the link has been covered up in some way, or that we already passed it without knowing. Finding a link to the Fredericton Tunnels are our main priority at this point of our exploration.

Just gotta say, I'm really interested in seeing the Fredericton tunnel system uncovered. If you ever want some help exploring sites or help with research, let me know.
