The way I heard it, from a homeless guy staying in the hilton, was that The satanic cult dug tunnels all across victoria, including a secret connection to the navy's hidden submarine base. They infiltrated the base and called upon Satan by sacrificing a kidnapped child (7 days from easter) and satan seized the mind of the sub commander. With control of him, it was easy to replace the rest of the crew with their own satanic cult members. they then took the sub out of the secret base and headed to parts unknown.
The guy told me this, and somebody else heard the same thing.
Or it could just be more jabbering about rumours that have no proof...
My only hope is for Jesus to get to the truth...

tunnels are all over victoria/vancouver. its not a big stretch that out of the miles of tunnels, locations, etc one or more evil persons might use it for evil purposes.

In act, surveillance footage from Victoria did capture the images of what could be one of the world's most dangerous minds with a flunkie. They are suspected of being involved in a plan to...

Tunnels which may or may not exist, fine.
But being connected to anything and everything from satanic cults to hidden submarines... I'm just waiting to hear that Bigfoot and Nessie are hiding in the tunnels, and that's why nobody can fine them... And then it will all make sense.
I like the drain pics that have come up, and I really hope someone does manage to find soem sort of tunnel or remnants of tunnel. But until that happens, it's all just runaway speculation.

Because it's a living historical document, a thing of beauty, a Duchampian piece of flypaper? Because if I lock this thread we'll just end up with new ones asking questions about Victoria tunnels or talking about the latest rendition of random rumour #235?
As long as this thread stays near the top of the first page, there's at least half a chance that the newest kid from Victoria will read it before making a new post on the subject, get schooled and refrain from posting until they've got something worth reading.

Steel toed boots can be picked up for free out of any store which sells construction boots. Some slash the boots but any degree of slashing is pretty easy to fix with a cross stich. Mountain Equipment co-op, (and any store that sells these lights also throws them out) sells little LED lights that most people put on their handle bars, but these lights can also be wraped around watch straps as a emergency light. They can provide from 100 to 150 hours of light. Sometimes the folks using the hypos can be easy to deal with if you bring a container for sharps (needles) a pair of litter forcepts, and a few sandwiches. (as well as your cellphone camera, extra batteries and lights, in your pack, compass so you might know where you are... would a GPS work indoors? They can be purchased at pawn shops or at auctions pretty cheap 35 bucks like.)
