I'm full of self loathing for calling Mulder a Jetta. Like them both, but such a mistake... Awesome shot of him on the railway tracks in the Jetta thread. Air down and it's smooth sailing. The cars track looks about perfect match. Or carry four bare rims to get a feel for the steel! Just need an abandoned line.

It's not a VW Jetta...it's VW fox, hence the name Mulder.
I used to be with it, but then they changed what it was. Now what I'm with isn't it, and what's it seems weird and scary to me, and it'll happen to you, too! |

They're watching us.
(A homeless guy was drawing it, ended up chatting with him, asked if i could take a picture, a down and out artist from Prince George, that's where its from, btw. Couldn't really get a decent photo, lighting was real bad, pretty blurry.).

Posted by Extortion Sweet. I crawled into the old mine at Mt doug called "cougar cave". Goes back about 50 feet I would say. Most people told me 30 but I feel it was much longer. Well theres one mystery finished for me. I snapped some photos and will go through them later. Is anyone doing any draining or anything sometime? I am contemplating my next adventure. Im thinking the hall of wonders. Looks easy enough. If I understand correctly I need tall boots and a flashlight? If anyone can confirm this I would appreciate it. For now I will go through the easy ones and get some experience before I do anything too crazy. I would be interested in seeing the "Douglas Darkie" or the other one if this is right "The below of the beast"? I might be wrong. Would like if someone could give me some directions or show me sometime! I got a buddy who comes along with me too

There is a home made documentary on utube on that cougar cave! http://www.youtube...atch?v=7Ca2BRuuCWU

Funny...when you said 'cougar cave,' I automatically thought of Sweet Waters.

Shite. Last time I came to this place, this thread was in the low 60's. I have a lot of catching up to do, lol. Good to see all the OG's are still gardening. Roam on. ~b
Leo1: You cant just wander around Gary going into old buildings! Theres plenty of crackheads that will bust you in the mouth for that camera, then run a train your ladyfriends. Me: I like Gary, I think its nice, aside from the lack of eats on a Sunday afternoon. Leo2: Yeah, its really nice...until we find three dead strangers in an...abandoned...thing. |
|
I still want to explore underground Victoria, but I admit I'm kind of nervous. I'm still just a lurker. Great work you guys do, and amazing photographs! And KublaKhan, I would very much like to see the video you made. The next time it's being screened please let me know!

We are not enemies, but friends. We must not be enemies. Though passion may have strained we must not break our bonds of affection. The mystic chords of memory will swell when again touched, as surely they will be by the better angels of our nature. |

There were references to the "garden city gardeners", which is what i assumed they were calling the small collective that had formed. *shrugs*

^ Well fixed. A.Lien explored an abandoned property yesterday, and another a few weeks ago. He does much more than just research. "and A.lien still up and always will be up with the research" this comment = false + fail. there's a new breed in town busy with work busy with explorations Here's a friendly suggestion to post pics of this awesomeness the new breed is busy with. Opportunities arise, people move geographically and in other ways. The GCG are all doing well and still explore. The are also evolving as excellent photographers.

There are too many tunnels in Italy to wrap my head around. Victoria will always be my love, although I may be casually investigating mistresses. Keep up the investigations. Keep up the discussions. Victoria will always have secrets to give up to those who are driven by mystery and legend, and who have a sense adventure in their hearts. Hello to everyone in the beautiful Garden City! JP.
I'm going hunting for mysteries, cover me. |

Because I live on a small island and the only drains I get to see are storm drains, I feel left out. But I've been soothing my drain needs by rummaging through ancient garbage piles, these are just a couple of pics, and one of my bum, lol. The amount of bottles I have been finding have been increasing rapidly, many from 1880 to the 1960's. Thanks for letting me share, I enjoy lurking everyone's adventures and pics!

If anyone every gets over here we have a couple of good spots to go and dig through. There are also some caves to be had, I just can't remember how to get to them, last time I was just a little kid. There are a bunch of mines here too, would love to try and find them. Either way a trip to Salt Spring is always great for photos!
