Had a fun time w/ NK today, and by fun I mean crawling down a seemingly endless two and-a-half foot pipe drenched with cold water trying to find a spot to stand up, but it was cool when we finally got to the brick pipe after going under the eerie waterfall, under the huge manhole-ladder area. And, we found 2 more cool looking tunnels which was a bonus, planning to do these ones soon.

Your biggest concern should be personal safety, and not posting easily recognizable photos of yourselves, or obvious X marks the entrance details how or where you got in. And of course never leave a lid open, pardon the reminder. The Cops are Santa and the Easter Bunny compared to tides, flooding, or bad air. As you know, water and an extra flashlight or at least candles are are good idea. Cool stuff you all are doing. Mod: "I'm not so sure if i should be posting these yet... if anyone has any problems with them, let me know." Didn't mean to get on a rant; really meant to say just post away, pics rule!

Posted by NinjaKlutz Got to the old chinese section; we liked what we saw. Went to the ends of both directions @ the waterfall.

Coming out of lurking mode.. Been a while since I was down there, but I don't remember a Y in the pipe with 2 tunnels to explore? Is my memory shot? (Probably ) Here are some pics from my fun. I opted for the daylight entry via manhole, dressed in daylight urban stealth camo

Dear Mr. tweeek; Your recent posts indicate an exceptional effort and ability at photographing certain rare functioning aquatic themed heritage structures, ie: 'drains or tunnels', for lack of a better term, presumably in the fair city of Victoria British Columbia. I encourage you to print these badboys up big, and present them in a local *gallery, and or post in tunneling drains threads, and or in the general photo thread, your own website etc. The horseshoe/alien head shaped drain in post 2282-UTGC is particularly dipped in the sauce of win. Your photos accentuate the positive, and show this joyous place in it's best light, which actually, I know you brought and has extreme candle power. If this light were a truck, it would be bigger and more robust and capable of crawling over fallen old growth trees than anyone else's, except of course K.K.'s who's 1 Million/10K candle power hand held light house can illuminate the backside of Bosnia at 3:00 AM PST. In summary, just wanted to say, great photos! *Various galleries and at least one publication in town would be damn lucky to show/print your work, a win win for you and them. However; I know the idea of showing UE based work to the general public is perhaps controversial. That said, work could be shown, in an artistic context, without giving out locations. More info if you are interested.

Beautiful, Tweeek! I just love the silky water. Slow shutter speed, or just an artifact of low iso? Tell me it ain't digital! If so, what are you packing?
