use a teflon or surface bar. percentage is high for rejection.. cant give you numbers on that one. more speficically is called a nape piercing

I've got a buddy with dual nape. He's had it for 2 years or better without rejection. I imagine rejection is higher than other types, but it would probably be on par with something like an eye brow piercing. Maybe even less, because of the curved jewelry.

Sorry, I was looking for pictures, but apparently don't have them on this computer. Some funny ones of his neck tattoo though....

Napes almost never look good and do reject typically. I had a madison once and that shit never healed, napes are on the same level.

This sort of piercing usually rejects after a few months, but if you take care of it properly and use the right barbell (a teflon) then it shouldn't reject. I think a nape is really cool i was thinking of getting one, but i'm not sure anymore, i think it looks nice and all i'm just afraid of it rejecting.

you still want one !? it will hurt ! even though the pain isn't such a big issue the rejecting is, and it sucks when your piercings start to look funny or reject!

surface piercings do not hurt. they almost feel like nothing. whoever said that has no tolerance for pain.

Since you are a guy I am not sure your hair is an issue. My daughter's friend had it done and had alot of issues with her hair getting tangled in it at night even with a ponytail.

A mirage is not an optical illusion. It is a real phenomenon, and one can take photographs of it. The interpretation of the image, however, is up to the fantasy of the human mind.

agreed, that is the problem with that piercing, most women who get it have short hair for that reason, that suck about your friend though
