Prayer requests

For anyone who needs em.

I have a general one, just one of those Murphy's Law deals, if something can go wrong it will. For all of 2004, imagine that.
So just a general "hope all is well with that Irishlady" kinda prayer.

So I said "Why don't you shove it where the sun don't shine" and so he did. He put it in the cupboard under the stairs and it hasn't been mentioned since.

My Ex-fiancee is currently homeless and job hunting. Please pray that he will be able to find a job in the Tuscaloosa Area so that he doesn't have to move out of state, and soon.

I need some serious prayers.... I need to help with my current depression, and I need to grow closer to God...I am having a very very bad time.

Can some of you join in praying for my father and his failing kidneys? I know that it's kind of irreversible, but nothing is impossible. At the very least I pray that his pains are lessened.

Well, I found a job. I found it about 3 weeks after graduation which is pretty good considering other undergrads sometimes takes months to find a job.

IrishLady, how are you doing? Have things been better or worse? Let us know!

Decoy, I will pray for your dad.

And Kenshin, congrats!! It took me 4.5 months and 81 applications to find a job [that I wanted].

Kenshin, congrats!

Decoy, your father is still in my prayers.

Katwoman, That depression of mine is currently lifted, but nothing else has gotten better. Things were looking up with my sorta ex, but I haven't spoken to him in a week, so I have no idea what's happening there. Also my health concerns (which strangly enough, I have not put in this section!) are getting worse.
But I have faith that things will work out for the best in one way or another.
Thanks for checking up!

update:
My dad is beginning dialysis soon (peritoneal for those of you interested) so he's going to have a tube coming out of his belly that's easily infect-able. He's also going on a transplant list for a kidney/pancreas combined transplant. God willing, he'll have a new kidney and be free of Diabetes for the first time in 26 years.

Another, terrible update:

My father has passed away.

He died on his first day of dialysis of complete kidney failure. We were too late. I don't know why the hospital released him. The doctors told me he was fine. His best friend took him home, he called me... he was going to make some soup. Then, tuesday, the cops broke in to find him on the floor next to the bed.

God has taken away his suffering, and I pray that the Lord gives me strength to complete this semester before I break down. He gave me the strength to get through the week of the funeral, all the dealings and spendings, and putting up with inlaws...

I keep kicking myself for not caring more about his situation... he always played his sicknesses down... I didn't know it was as serious as it was... I mean, I knew that he had like a couple of months if he didn't get on dialysis... but he did... what.. what happened?

Please pray for strength for me, and for my fiancée.. she's going to be my rock for a long time now.

Decoy, I am so sorry to hear that.

I cannot imagine exactly what you're going though, but I know that it must be tremendously difficult, and having to do homework and go to class only makes the stress greater.

May God give you his strength to get through the semester, and may you feel his love surrounding you! Know that he cares about you. I will pray for comfort for you and for your fiancee.
