Hmmm...

I've got the daily driver, a Trek MT 7100. Not the most reliable bike, it's had it's fair share of parts replaced, but it gets me from A to B several times a day.

Then there's the speed demon, a K2 something-or-other. Got it real cheap. (Yeah, yeah, K2 doesn't make bikes, but that's why it was such a great deal.)

Then of course theres the weekend warrior. 1993 BMW K75. Fast, dependable, and hey, nobody steals sport-tourers.

k2 made bikes all the way up until the late 90's Dennis McCoy use to ride vert for the K2 team in like 97ish

Who's laughing? I kinda wish I had one, but the headlight makes it hard to put anything else on there.

NV: I'm not laughing, thats a sick bike setup you got there.

Oh, just a little FYI: today I got hit by a car on my beast (see a few posts up). I'm fine, and the bike is fine, which is metal as fuck.

Thanks for not laughing. I get funny looks from bike messengers sometimes, which is kind of odd considering they often have to balance a bankers box on their handlebars. I'll bet then they're thinking "Man, I'm sooo jealous of that guy with the basket on his orange bike..."

tron: Ouch! Glad your ride, and more important YOU, are fine. Getting hit by a car is not fun, but sometimes I think it's the price we pay. Most every cyclist I know has at least one "hit by a car" story. That's pretty disturbing if you think about it.

Yeah it would be a nice ride if your not mashing a monster gear.
It is priced very reasonably and look great.

killer bikes guys, i especially like the homemade ones. I built one that was really cool but i ended up scrapping it because it was too heavy to lug around. then my phone broke before i could get the pics into my email

i can describe it though, the top tube was made from welded 3/8 inch chain, it had a double down tube of the same material. the head and seat tubes were 1 inch pipes, it had a cast iron bottom bracket shell with one piece bmx cranks. it had a four link setup on the rear, the control arms were cut from 3/8 inch plate, i made my own coil-overs out of nuts bolts washers and pipe fittings with locomotive exhaust springs the whole thing was welded using a 1970s Hobart stick welder. it was bad ass

these are my current bikes:
