This was my first official exploration of a big, abandoned facility. This place was completely decaying from the inside as it was all mushy on the floor and walls. rust was covering almost all surfaces. Apon entering, it was really humid and smelled like an old attic, me two friends had to hop a fence with barbed wire, we put one of our jackets on the barbed wires so we don't get fucked up. we all got a cut on our hands but luckily, I brought first aid, band aids, Neosporin, and rubbing alcohol. There was defiantly someone other than us inside. we found a room with an inflatable mattress, chairs and empty alcohol bottles and trash everywhere. we kept going and found a bunch of unused medical equipment and a bunch of old medical records From my research, this building was constructed in the 1970's and was abandoned around 2005. according to local news, an 11-year-old boy was killed by a 15-year-old. "Rachel Ford of Allen is accusing the center's parent company, American Habilitation Services, of negligence in the death of Xavier Hegwood who died March 12 when a 15-year-old resident attacked him. The boy fell backward, hit his head on a table and went into cardiac arrest."

Nah this location is in Houston, Tx. I think hurricane Harvey and occasional floods caused all the deterioration since the building is in the flood zone.
