I checked out two sites last winter. One (maybe Site 12?) was accessible only down the stairway to the sealed blast door but at the 2nd (Site #5) the command module roof hatch was open and there was a ladder down to the top floor via a crazily-stacked pile of furniture. The silo had been pretty well stripped and trashed but still pretty cool to check out. I think the missile may have exploded in the tube because the silo itself was blackened and missing pieces of concrete. Is it okay to post pictures in an imgur gallery and link to here?
