On a trip out to Detroit I revisited one of the last blighted megaliths the city had. Previously I hadn't filmed any of the building, and two years later I just wanted to get more footage of the forboding property.
In 2019, a man playing hide and seek at night died, after falling nine stories down an elevator shaft. His body was recovered and identified the next day, after his friends noticed him missing.
On the front face of the warehouse were the office spaces, a narrow assortment of room divided to recording the handling of the warehouse goods.
The top floors were pitch black, all dark, no light. I could barely see five feet in front of myself; this is where the cold storage of the warehouse was, they couldn't have any windows as it would raise the temperature with the greenhouse effect.
