Recently bought an old car as a project and fun weekend toy, I thought I would share. it's a 1980 Chevrolet El Camino, 350 small block V8 it's registered, but not exactly ready to pass MA inspection. needs a bunch of work including new seatbelts and backup lights. I've already done a bit of work on it. New alternator, wiper fluid reservoir. New wiper linkage, wiper arms, and wiper blades. and I also installed and wired up some front turn signals runs great though

Love. It. Malibu party in the front, business in the rear. If you're on shitbook, there is a group on there called "Malaise Motors"... you might like that group. Interesting topics, engaging members, VERY well moderated and managed. And your car is right up their alley. Been a member for 6 years.

Im not even a GM guy, but I love El Caminos. That looks like a good starting point for a really nice ride. I'd love to find a 67-68 Ranchero... because Im one of those weird Ford guys...

If you ever visit Cocoa Beach FL, these things outnumber Camrys about 5-1. It's glorious.
