Clock's ticking on this spot

Apparently a new housing development is going in. Not sure if they're converting or demolishing the hospital, but I'm assuming it's the latter.

I don't want to flood my posts with images, so there's a bunch more here if it catches your fancy:

I heard that they were taking down everything except the four historical buildings. There certainly is an increase in activity. The last couple of times I was there security was on me quickly. I always tell them that I used to be a patient.

Ha! That’s a great line. How do they react to that?

Very cool man. Good that you were able to take some time and get a look around while it's there

You always find something if you look, it's just not always quite what you were looking for

This is prob my favorite place I've explored. I was there in November and took a very similar shot to #3, the blue room with curtains. Those two mobile offices weren't there. Looks like they're getting ready to work which is unfortunate.. I was really hoping to get back this year. We'll see what happens

I'd say, it is a spot for those who want to lose themselves in an endless bando. The sad thing is, it is totally destroyed inside, which makes it for a few good shots. But ya can still get some small details and outside pics. Drone is recommended too.
Grab it while it lasts, for nostalgia value

Pics will follow=)

Here are a few shots... It felt great to sneak around. Also the encounter with the friendly scrapper was an unexpected one. Not sure what is there left to scrap.
On another note, this is my second flickr, as the first one is completely full (>1000 pics). If I get to explore more stuff it be posted to this account.

Ha! I was in another thread saying the same thing, there’s something about that room with the curtains ‘eh?

Last time I was by there still wasn’t any heavy equipment parked there, so I’m sure there’s still a bit of time.

Sweet shots, love the last one in the red light. Was that a sunset shot? Also good to hear he was friendly LOL I've seen some people there that don't look too friendly..

That's good to hear man. Can I ask what lens you were using for your pics?

I’ve got the A6000 and a couple of the kit lenses. They’ll be either the 16-50 or 55-210.

I'm not a full member so I can't see but I'd be incredibly surprised if there wasn't. You're a FM so you're able to check

Sorry, I’ve been trying to sell my house. Didn’t see a proper listing for but it’s right beside ‘Medical Exam building’
