Last summer me and 2 of my friends took a went on a roadtrip to the Portsmouth, OH area. One of the places we went to was New Boston Coke. According to my grandmother, she actually worked here as a summer job one year back when she lived in the area. Pretty much all of the structure got torn down when they cleaned the polluted land and built the Walmart supercenter. When we visited all we saw that was left was foundations, the flare/smokestack, and what I think is the brick remains of the coke oven.
