Saw a building peeking out from tops of trees. Saved the location for later and me and two friends decided to check it out. After a bit of navigating we found it. We couldn't really tell you what it used to be, it had feelings of a parking garage or a foundation of some sorts.. because there were multiple stories but no way of getting up except through dirt mounds that's piled up over the years and holes in the floors. Any clue on what it is? Just curious.

With a bit of CGI effects, the location of that last photo could look like a cemetery!

Looks industrial, especially if that last picture shows concrete mounts for long-removed equipment. A lot of cities and towns have maps available online with tax information on them- try looking up the land parcel on one of those maps and seeing what comes up. You might be able to find improvement types, ownership history, and other useful information to figure out what this was.

Yeah I researched it a little more, apparently the structure is for slurry to pass through from an old abandon quarry nearby. I couldn't have imagined that they were connected in any way but they are. Thanks for your help (:

I recently just started getting into urban exploration, so far it's the only thing I've found without any help. I definitely will keep searching for more locations to share with everybody.

I'm gonna second the quarry thing. Kelleys Island in Ohio has some of the same structures buried back in the woods along hiking trails from when the whole island used to be quarried.
dsankt: In fact, the day I die yall are welcome to form an orderly queue and run a train on my eye sockets. I'll be dead and frankly, will not give a f*ck. budda: That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Fuck me sideways this is insane. ~~~~~~ Because it's Cincinnati |
