Hi, quick introduction here. I'm from the UK and have been doing this sort of thing for many years now. As fate would have it, I’m due to be visiting Canada very regularly now for pretty much the rest of my life so thought I’d take a look around. Although I’ve been to many places here and also in mainland Europe, I’ve yet to travel west. As such, I thought I’d google around which is how i ended up here. I've noticed that the UK section of your database is a little lacking. Hopefully i can gain some trust here on the forum and i can help to populate the UK part of your database with some great places for you guys to explore if you find yourselves in my part of the world I primarily do abandoned underground wartime and military stuff but I’m not limited to just that. Below you can see some of my work. Here's some history on this place for you... Originally driven by the military circa 1941, these tunnels would have been used by our Royal Marines as both an air raid shelter and also an underground hospital. Originally located beneath what used to be military barracks, these tunnels would have linked the north and south barrack sites. My camera settings when underground are always as follows: ISO: 200 Aperture: F22 Exposure Time: *Variable* Usually around 60 seconds but this depends upon the size of the place and how much light is needed in the light painting process.

Welcome! I think the first shot is my personal favorite, though picking a favorite was a hard decision
"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there. | |
