This started out like many of my other trips to an abandoned farm.....You walk up the laneway and head for the house in hopes of finding a time capsule or something that hasn't been completely gutted/ransacked. I was disappointed in what I found inside
Look at that....another picture of a door and two windows
Hold on now. This is something I've never seen before.....
Change (In the house of Bees)? I would totally rock that coat jin Feeling disappointed, I made my way outside and headed towards the buildings. I wanted to see what would happen if I framed the house between these posts, which clearly didn't work that well....
Feeling dejected, I turned around and spotted it sticking out like a sore thumb. One of my automotive "unicorns" also known as "Eddie" The Edsel
I could not leave the trunk open so I closed it
Details about the car: 1959 Edsel Corsair with 332 ci V8 Made in Oakville Details about the Edsel brand: It had high expectations as it was named after Henry Ford's son. Ford spent 10 years and $250 million on planning one of its first brand-new cars in decades. But it was a classic case of the wrong car for the wrong market at the wrong time. Introduced in a recession that catastrophically affected sales of medium-priced cars, Edsels were considered overhyped, unattractive (distinguished by a vertical grille), and low quality. As a result, they were only produced from 1958 to 1960. I absolutely love this car and I'm super happy I found it. I hope you guys enjoy it's beauty as well. Thank you

In the early '70s I had a Ford dealer tell me the problem with the Edsel was for a few dollars less you could buy a Ford and for a few dollars more you could get a Mercury. And only once have I ever seen a 1960 model driving around...

Awesome find with that car, I remember finding this house as well back in 2012 or 2013 and I was SO EXCITED to get inside the house, only to find it totally empty. The car is new though, wasn't there back then. Great work Mr Nosey

Thanks Freaktography! I'm new and about 10 years too late to this game but I'm having fun. I love cars, motorcycles, dirt bikes, snowmobiles....basically all toys with a motor. I've only really started looking at abandoned houses recently and 99% have been tampered with. I'm hoping to stumble into something untouched but I'm sure it will take some time.
