This looks like it would have been a great place to work before it was either abandoned or fell victim to arson. Given it's location, I would be surprised if someone else on UER hasn't explored it. It's filled with expensive machine tools and heavy equipment, all of which appear to have been forgotten by the owner.

Cincinnati Bickford Radial Drilling Machine. I found one very similar that was dated 1944.

Ford-Smith Machine Co., Hamilton Ont. est. 1914. Early '60's grinder that would look wicked in my garage
Bull Dog Electric Products Company circa 1927. Was located in Detroit on Joseph Campau Avenue.
Chicago Dreis & Krump Mechanical Brake
John Deere 855 Crawler Loader. Probably worth some cheddar.
And finally, my first ever safe! J & J Taylor Safe Co., est. 1855 in Toronto. I wasn't able to date this one but it's super cool and filled with ice.

Thank you. It was about 25F or -5C, but I run a warm temp. so I enjoy this weather. It's way better than the rain we get in November.

This is an excellent looking spot. I don't recall ever seeing it before, but it's so easy to make a place look completely different and new when you have even a partly-different side to your photography. And this set certainly does.
I too much prefer exploring in winter than summer. No poison ivy, no ticks, and the added benefit of checking for tire tracks and footprints, which is invaluable. Plus there's just something strangely satisfying about getting dressed up so that you're completely impervious to the elements.

I full on expected a big abandoned house when I rolled up but was given a gift from above I guess. It amazes me that the equipment is being left there as there is some serious $$$ in salvage or resale.
There's clearly an interesting back story as to why so much is being left behind.
