Leicester Airport

The buildings there are mostly collapsed at this point, but some ares have rooms that are still standing. I was able to see a bathroom area and an office. In the bathroom area, a fluorescent tube fell from the ceiling and shattered around three feet from me. Some of the rooms are difficult to reach because they are blocked. I was able to walk on the collapsed sections of the roof to get to them, but it was really unstable in some places. One of the rooms had a broken safe on the ground near the entrance. I was there for around an hour before the police showed up. Apparently, there used to be a no trespassing sign on the edge of the location but someone tore it down. I would attach images but they exceed the maximum allowed file size, and I can't figure out how to scale them down.

Yeah, don't let the neighbors see you go in there. Nobody's got anything else to do in that town. It used to be a really cool spot before the roof caved in. It was a nightclub for years after the airport closed and it had a bar complete with 70's carpeting and funky wallpaper.
