On Highway 130 just west of Patterson is an abandoned geological research site. It’s just a small room about 10 x 10 with filled in tunnel openings on the floor. There is a faded tag saying it was part of the CSU Stanislaus program. 37.437906° N, 121.32145° W

Since you registered 4 years ago you might have forgotten the forum rules, posting the location coordinates is looked down upon. For posting images you can use any image hosting site and insert the share code onto your forum post. See this post for more information on how to do that http://www.uer.ca/...d=1&threadid=60002 And the rules http://www.uer.ca/...1&fid=1&currpage=1 For the door in the mountain, looks interesting and pretty tagged up. I wonder where the tunnels lead to.

This is an intriguing place. On gmaps you can see it lines up with a ridge made of white rock. I wonder what they were researching?

Shucks. They'd be pretty neat to see. Sounds like a cool find!
