Car chase at the engine factory

This engine factory was an unexpectedly exciting find. I initially found it by trawling Google Maps in an industrial area, so my expectations were low since I couldn't find anything online about it. Fortunately the collapsed roof sections provided lots of natural lighting and areas for natural overgrowth that made it a great explore.

The exit was where things got really exciting though. After exiting out the back I circled around the front to take some exterior shots but noticed an empty cop car parked outside, so I think I narrowly avoided being caught inside by the officer and decided to scout a few other buildings and circle back to this one.

Later that day I returned to take some exterior shots and the property owner was parked outside in his jeep.

As I left he followed me back to my car from a distance and I pulled away just as he rounded the corner. What followed was a nearly ten minute long car chase across town through traffic as I lost him, he found me again, and I shook him a second time until I managed to escape out of city limits. I don't know what he wanted but when he managed to catch up to me briefly he looked real angry. Fortunately I was able to make a getaway and haven't heard anything about it yet, so I guess I'm in the clear.

Between the abandoned industrial factory and the resulting car chase it was quite the exciting afternoon, and definitely one of the cooler locations to photograph that I've found recently.

"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.

Wow thats awful. I had a similar experience at an old Pocono resort. Caretaker had us on a 5 mile chase upwards of 70mph on twisting mountain roads. Dude had a gun and was screaming his head off at us.

Glad you were able to get away with such a nice set.
