Abandoned buildings have always been my urbex flavor of choice moreso over drains, tunnels, or rooftops- but when I saw this wide open outfall while visiting my folks a few months back I naturally had to go check it out. This buried creek runs for about a mile through an RCP drain 8 feet in diameter that gradually shrinks to 6 feet with no major branching lines- pretty boring. The last 100 yards or so were uncovered as part of the local riverfront restoration project a year or two back making it accessible so I'm pretty sure I'm the first person to explore this location. 1.

Not super interesting but I'd like to think I got some decent shots.

Nice find! I love the underground more than abandoned buildings, because they seldom do get demolished and fewer people visit them (there are definitely less graffiti in drains/sewers than in abandonments, although this can be debated in cities like MSP or Melbourne / Sydney, as the drains are more popular over there than they are in my current city).
