Congratulations on finding it. There are a few more buried waterways in the area. There's another largish one in The Bronx and one that's a popular underground "tubing" spot in Yonkers.

Oh cool, I'd love to check them out! This is my only "draining" experience. I know most sewers are pretty small. I actually saw something with Steve Duncan, and I recognized the sewer grate. And since I live nearby I figured "why not?"

That's a very valuable skill. I remember years ago some guys hit an abandoned hospital and tried their level best to keep it a secret, but their secrecy efforts were undone with ONE picture out of like 50 pictures.
