On our way somewhere completely different, we just happened to notice a very overgrown house off the side of the road.
A man from the adjacent property hassled us, but he just needed a sympathetic ear. Everyone in his direct family committed suicide, and his next-door neighbor, the lady who owned the kennel, also killed herself. The man was just surrounded by suicide.
Beyond the small green belt behind the two houses, a new neighborhood development by some slimy property company. That street got the kennel shut down, and the lady who owned it had nothing left. Her wife was already dead, she took her own life, what you see is all that's left.
This smaller house, behind the bigger house, seems to have acted as the office/front desk for the kennel.
We didn't really explore the interiors, this was just a detour on our way to another spot.
So that's the sad story of this kennel, and its neighbors.

Man that’s an awful story. Your pictures do A good job capturing the place and mood.

Like the moodiness of your shots. Goes along with the sad story and surroundings. Im intrigued by the upstairs and cant help but wonder what is up there. If you get to go again, id love to see them. Cool place and pics.
