Hi all. I decided to check in to see how UER has been doing. Incredible to see it looks exactly the same as when I first registered 10 years ago! I figured I'd share one of my more recent (although admittedly already old) explorations and writeups. I spent quite a bit of time hunting for this one, going to libraries before sleuthing Google Maps and finally driving out there one Sunday morning. Here's a few choice shots from my Futuro article, which if you're in the mood to read is a bit of an essay, so maybe one to tackle with your favoured beverage. The Approach:

Constructive critique and criticism is always welcome. I'd like to improve my photography and storytelling! Full story here: http://gakuran.com...lost-futuro-house/ Cheers!

This has to be the best preserved abandoned futuro home I have seen in pictures. It is refreshing to see one that is not totally stripped inside. Thanks for sharing!

Awesome find, I especially like the first shot!
"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there. |

Yeah, compared to others I've seen online it's in pretty good condition. It wasn't stripped, but several of the panels had been stacked up in a corner when I first found it due to floor damage.

Aw yeah! That's awesome.

Well researched article with interesting interviews and great photographs. Very comprehensive expose. The first photograph in your article doesn't seem to be loading properly? I browsed some of your other explorations ... really found the The Tower of Skulls intriguing. Reminded me of a scene from a Haruki Murakami or David Mitchell novel! I like your perspective.

Think about reviving this. That would be absolutely awesome. Went to see some pictures of what it was before, it's absolutely amazing. Good job for the pictures.
