Abandoned University Building

I'm sure that at least a few of you have been here because of it's location. Me and my friend were going to see a performance and on the way we spotted this absolute beauty. It had "demolition" signs all around it, it was around 4 or 5 stories tall from our bus-window-perspective and when we took a small peak inside we found construction lights all around.

DISCLAIMER: this was my first abandoned building so forgive me for the poor pictures. I used some of my friend's higher quality pics.

I tried doing some research and couldn't find much on the internet, but inside the building were some signs as to what the building was. Little signs on doors that had the university logo on it, a sign that listed different classes and their room numbers and in the basement a pharmacy sign.

Def a science building to learn about nutrition and medicine.

2.

This pic and the following 2 are from the base level.

This was a weird room for sure. It was this Victorian looking room. It had two doors but when my friend tried to open it the doorknob literally broke off. It was kept intact really well too (other than the bin, used to catch leaking rain water, was overflowing and the wooden floors were completely soaked).

Some of the pics came out grainy my bad.

I definitely regret not taking more pictures of the other levels. It was my first building and I was just focusing on the exploration of it. the upper floors were basically the same. Open space with concrete pillars. We found an early First Aid kit that I might make a post about later.

You don't have to be edgy to enjoy the internet :D

It looks pretty good, and I can understand why you were more living in the moment than taking pictures. Your best two, 2 and 5, can be made better by making the lines straight which is easy, so don't write off your photography. I hope you get another shot at it.
