A friendly reminder
< on 8/14/2020 11:05 AM >
Posted on Forum: UER ForumQuote
After browsing the forum a lot I noticed something wasn't being said enough and I'm a pretty blunt guy. So. Here we go.

You can and will get seriously injured or die if you're not cautious in these buildings. Especially if you're exploring underground tunnels.

Let people know where you're going.

Wear proper clothing.

Carry some basic first aid.

And always be mindful of where you're walking and what you're walking on.

This is literally a nutshelled reminder about the consequences you will fully face for willingly partaking in this dangerous but endlessly fun hobby.

Happy hunting.

Um... thanks, I guess? It stands to reason that if you survive long enough in this hobby, you figure these things out naturally, if only as a means of survival.

No, but I've seen their posts everywhere and I admit I'm curious why they were banned.

It's 3:30PM. I'm a rookie so doing this during the day isn't an option. Hello fellow Texan

Hmmm, I think I have only done one night explore, and would have surely gotten caught if we had not just walked up to security and asked if we could take pictures. Ended up getting a guided tour of the morgue, which sec said was really the only interesting place left. You dont really have to worry about lights and stuff too much during day time either. As long as you arent acting like an idiot (ie: vandalising, obviously trying to hide (the best hiding spot in public is in plain site), hiding your bike in some bushes rather than a designated parking spot, etc, you should be fine. Its generally safer during the day for a multitude of reasons. I guess when it comes down to it, its a confidence thing though, and I wouldnt recommend doing this stuff if you arent confident in your abilities.

Are you in the San Antonio area? There are some interesting places around there but they're easily found using google. The worse one being a brewery. But you got me on the confidence statement, I guess I feel safer at night.

No, I'm about 4 hours away, but that wont stop me from exploring the area. Been driving out like 3 hours the last few weeks for explores.
