When I was considering biking out to the countryside for some exercise, I realized I had had this location marked on Google Maps for quite a long time. After determining that it was a feasible trip, I began my journey there. Although there were a lot more steep hills (and wind!) that I had hoped for, I finally reached my long-awaited destination.
I should probably add that I never actually entered the house... the interior shots were all taken looking through the open doorway. My hesitation to enter was mainly due to the horrible - essentially nonexistent - condition of the front porch (shown in photo #4). This brought concerns that the floor of the house itself might be in a similar condition. I was also going solo, and with this being my first abandoned house explore, I couldn't help but feel slightly hesitant to go wandering through this potentially unstable building. Looking back, I wish I had been more bold, but this thread will hopefully serve as the future location of some photos of a potential second exploration, with a friend this time...
Sorry for the slightly low quality photos - I didn't feel like hauling a backpack with heavy camera gear all the way out there!

The view from the road. The home has a typical long, skinny mobile home design, and that's some sort of storage shed off to the right.

View of the storage shed. There was no real way inside, unfortunately.

Now this is where I started to get excited (note the open doorway!). I believe that boarded-up room in the front is the master bedroom.

Ancient looking yellow stove in the kitchen with a more modern microwave in the foreground. Based on the home's exterior, there were probably a couple more bedrooms and a bathroom behind this kitchen.

Shame the place was so filled with tags. The awkward framing of this pic is due to the odd angle I was shooting at through the front door...

Bonus photo of the views on the ride back. I'll need to revisit this spot at golden hour.

Nice find! I know what you mean about hiking with a heavy backpack! Exploring is not always about the photos though it's the adventure! Interesting little homestead in the middle of nowhere!

Cool little spot, might be worth hauling the gear if your spending the night or doing some astro-photography.

I absolutely agree, it's a fun trip and feels quite serene with cars driving by only once every 10 or 15 minutes. Less traffic is always a plus with locations that are right next to the road haha

Funny you mention it, since I just tried astrophotography for the first time a couple days ago! It was pretty fun, and I'm sure a rural spot like this with very little light pollution would make for some nice photos.

Combine that with some light painting on the building and you might have a really cool composition.
