Last year a friend and I had a day off so we spent the day driving around an area close to us that is littered with little abandoned goodies. We stopped maybe a dozen times, mostly just for old barns or empty rundown houses, but we stumbled across this little church that turned out to be quite a gem. It was as if everybody walked out one Sunday morning, expecting to be back the next week, but never returned. Preachers glasses still on the pulpit, open hymnal on the piano, and Bibles still laid out on the chairs. It was the last stop we made, and the we were loosing light, but still managed to grab a few shots before we headed home. 1. 2. 3. 4.

You always find something if you look, it's just not always quite what you were looking for | |
You stumbled upon one of my favourite locations in all of Ontario, it's an amazing place eh? Here is what it looks like now compared to when you were there
And here is a comparison I made between 2012 and 2020

Oh wow, yeah it's come a long way since you first found it. Piano just keeps getting lower and lower haha. It was definitely the highlight of the day. Know any of the story behind it?

It's a cool spot for sure. Nice shots. Last time I was there the floor was almost impassable.
