An excerpt from the NRHP website:

"Completed in 1895 and registered as a historical landmark in 1998, the Ellsworth Ranch Bridge is notable as an usual style of Pratt/Warren truss bridge. The only one of its kind in Iowa, this bridge is a rare surviving example of structural experimentation by the King Bridge Company in the 19th Century."

Heard about this place last year, pics are from my first visit in early June. I've been back twice to try some fishing but only carp so far. I know theres perch and catfish in this river (East Fork Des Moines); I've fished both out of the lake it passes thru a few miles north of here.

The truck is from my parents farm a few days before my brother hauled it off for restoration. 67 F250, 289 v8, 3 speed floor shift, was my grandpa's before he parked it in the 80s sometime due to the steering going out.
