While there I thought it was a boat manufacturing facility or maintenance place, but after further research I found out that this was a former naval fueling station. In use during WWII and abandoned in the 1970s. They claim cleanup efforts are "underway", but it didn't seem that way to me. Overview Pipes Exterior Pipes Storage? not sure what this is exactly Inside of Storage Fueling Building 2 Exterior Workshop Boiler Room Boiler Controls Fuse box Building 2 Exterior 2 Had to cut the trip short, a lot more here that I couldn't see. And if anyone has an idea about the use of some of these buildings, I'd love to hear it.
