Had a blast @ good ole Gary, Indiana! If you never folks never been to Gary to do some exploring, please go asap! I need to come back here within a couple weeks, have not dented the surface yet! Planning on spending some time in the schools. If anyone is interested in the near future(less than a month),and wants to tag along, Pm me! My first set of pics are from a abandoned apt complex. Did not find much here. Lots of broken floors and staircases. Not going to talk about all the pics,so i will briefly talk about where i went. Couple schools(with playground), memorial auditorium, not going to say what the big white building is, but i found a way inside for next time. I barley went inside the schools, again save for next time. Lots of abandoned houses, but no extraordinary finds. I'm making a flickr page, once finished will post a link. That way you guys can see my other pics plus other stuff! Some Advice for people going to Gary: 1. Don't ask the locals too much technical questions, cause they won't know! Asked several different locals about the abandoned hospital nearby but they said it was demolished already. I believed it until i ran into it on my way out of Gary! 2. Bring an extra camera/phone! 3. Bring 2 flashlights or extra batteries! Doing some reading on the schools and the school with the playground, it was the very first Gary high school that opened in 1909! Next to it was the elementary/junior school.. That is soooo mind blowing and sad!

Go to the Church/Bank/Art school! I saw you took pictures of art school, there is a pretty pink piano inside, did you get a chance to see it?

The Piano? Yes. I took 3/4 different pictures and excluded the others except for the one posted above. Be aware your surroundings people! 3 separate times I had to lose people from my tail because i thought a few of em were trying to follow me inside some places!

Right! After i left that complex, i was thinking "Who/they ever built this long ago, would be depressed if they seen what it turned into today! I would have explored more rooms but it was hard to get around. Only one staircase was left on the side i was on, rest was falling apart along with the floor.
