This trail and area of the surrounding woods has a ton of old car wrecks and even an abandoned radio station.

1.

The exterior of the radio hut. It looks like it has been abandoned for about 20 years.

2.

The interior of the radio hut.

3.

One of the many car wrecks in the woods.

I'll probably go back to take higher quality photos soon.

Nice find! Looking forward to seeing more photos.

"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there.

I posted it a few months ago. One of the towers fell down and a lady called the police because kids were climbing the existing tower. There are some parts in the boxes. It would be really cool if the generator parts were still in there or something.

That whole area, including the golf course and the abandoned transmitter site, are slated to be developed into a high density residential area as part of an extension of the nearby road network in the next few years. It will include a new groomed trail connecting into the formal parkland trail system.

There is development on a tall concrete framed building(circled in white) that I assume is residential given the neighbourhood. I saw a crane and there was clangin ahappening.
While I visited this trail for the first yesterday, the trail seems nicely groomed so it must be new. To find any rusted out cars you need to leave the main trail eastward and then you find other smaller trails.
Radio Shack is still there though.(circled in blue)
