The first use of these caves were as old wine cellars in the early 1900s. Located under a dorm room, the caves were rediscovered in the 80s by college students and used for partying. These days, they're a campus legend, and visitors can enter their names in a soggy logbook. Many bats also call the cave home. 1.

I bet there were some killer parties here.

I haven't done this one yet. Very much on my to-do list. I thought these were pretty untouched? looks like they're in good condition regardless.

These were brewery caves dug in the 1880's. Most of the ground is packed sand fill dumped there from a nearby tunnel. Great spot but its home to a lot of bats so I'm rather glad it isn't visited often.

Love this one, I'm hopping that it stays untouched and lowkey.

There's also a fox in the area. One of its kills made the place reek.

Went here last night. It was great! The mostly clean sandstone made for some great pics. You're right about it smelling like shit haha. Lots of moldy lil turds. Hauled out two grocery bags full of trash. I really hope this place stays in good condition.

That's amazing! The bats in there are so beautiful, and it needs to stay lowkey for them to get through the winter.
