One of my colleagues had to run out to a customer location to check on some network hardware that fell off the grid.
The security guard had him fill out a health questionnaire and the guard denied him access because he checked the YES box for having a headache and feeling tired in the last seven days.
Obviously that security guard knows nothing about the IT business.
Some guy on Friday or Saturday night hosted a "Fuck Corona" block party in Cinci's Over-The-Rhine neighborhood. Streamed it live to his Facebook and everything.
I am apologizing on behalf of my corner of the state.
dsankt: In fact, the day I die yall are welcome to form an orderly queue and run a train on my eye sockets. I'll be dead and frankly, will not give a f*ck. budda: That makes absolutely no sense whatsoever. Fuck me sideways this is insane. ~~~~~~ Because it's Cincinnati

I go to a hospital almost every day, and the questionnaires they ask sometimes get pretty weird. They often ask if you have a runny nose, and because I drive a scooter to the hospital in the cold I often do. They're pretty lax about that though.
They also ask if I've been to any religious services in the last 14 days, which is especially ironic because it's a missionary-founded hospital.

I live and work in Northern Ontario as a medevac pilot. Things in my job have REALLY slowed down for the past few days, as hospitals are accepting fewer patients than they used to. We typically fly 1-3 trips daily, but at the moment we are doing 1 or less trips per day.
Our company serves a huge number of indigenous communities and we are having to be SO careful about who we transport because of the fear of taking the virus into one of the communities. Many of the nursing stations have taken-on extra duties that we used to cover, to alleviate the risk of transmission.
While our work has been slow lately, there's word of confirmed cases popping-up now and we are starting to transport more and more suspected cases. The procedures we are following now are extremely strict, and we are often briefed at the start of each shift about new procedures that are being implemented regarding aircraft cleaning, PPE donning and doffing, preservation of PPE, etc. Everyone seems to be learning and adapting as we go.
I've been watching the news about mask shipments and PPE supplies because we rely so heavily on them.

One third is actually pretty good. I think over 50 percent of cases here are still connected to religious gatherings. There was the evil cult that blew the doors open months ago, then the Christians who got sprayed with infected salt water to protect them from the virus, then another cultish church having a gathering while its leader was in prison for rape. COVID-19 must really like Christians.
Wisconsin's about to be hit hard. The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled that Governor Evers could not postpone the election due to Republican fears that doing so would "negatively impact the integrity of the election." The number of polling places has also been reduced- in Milwaukee, a city of 600,000 people, they have five polling places. Five. For over half a million people.
Of course, they say you can just vote absentee, but they won't accept late ballots- and I (and many others) haven't received ours in the mail yet and the election is today. I and tens of thousands of Wisconsinites will be forced to choose between risking our lives and making our voices heard.
I'm going to grab a mask and some hand sanitizer and hit the polls tomorrow because this election is too important not to vote in, but we never should have been forced to make this choice in the first place.
So basically expect a massive increase in cases in Wisconsin in the next week.

A profound lack of common sense and a feeling that they are protected will kill by the tens of thousands. All zealots are fools but at least they not kissing and licking the temples like they are/were in Iran.
I have no delusions about escaping this piece of shit virus... just more hard living. My specialty
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.
This would be a great time to hit locations if I hadn't already done pretty much everything I wanted to here. Tried for a place tonight but there was still a security guard - guess it's way too hot and I'm 5 years too late.
Some spots are actually HARDER because of the pandemic, like those near parks, because people are crowding there rather than the streets. Granted, I don't hang around the parks after they closed because cops here are hardasses that will look for any excuse to ticket you over dumb shit.
Streets are super empty and quiet after midnight in a way I haven't seen at any point in the past 20 years. Tons of new graffiti up. Looking forward to seeing fruitful shots and explores from others.
