More evidence that this coronavirus is very much a BSL-4 pathogen. The worst of the worst, one of the most contagious and environmentally durable of this category of pathogens from hell Very few hospitals are properly equipped to contain this type of pathogen. It's a real fuck. Only good news is it's not nearly the most lethal Disease X pathogen...
This bitch is going pop like a drunk prom queen's hymen... bad times dead ahead.
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

So far, there's no general shelter-in-place order in Iowa although the pestilence continues to proliferate.
There is a request that anyone who has been out of state, on a cruise (redundant- there are no cruise ships in Iowa) or traveled abroad (also redundant) should self-isolate for 14 days.
Restaurants remain in takeaway only mode and restrictions on non-essential businesses has been expanded to include bookstores and jewelry stores.
Elective medical care has also been restricted which includes eye surgery, cosmetic surgery and surgical abortions.

According to the latest data infection rates in the UK appear to have begun to stabilise thanks largely in part to the social distancing and lockdown measures put in place although it'll be another week or so before we begin to truly see what effect they may have had fully.
Positive signs that what we're doing over here is starting to work.

^ I'm not seeing sufficient social distancing in those pics
Are those lines for admissions or testing? At the big downtown test centre at Quartier des Spectacles they're keeping them 6' feet apart. Some festival.

Testing and admissions as needed.
EDIT:
I sent these pictures to the elder statesman of exploring in NYC and he told me about what it was exploring that hospital when it was under construction in the 1950s.

Doesn't matter. It's that contagious. TB is an airborne pathogen and extremely contagious... this is much more contagious. If this coronavirus had a higher mortality rate it be a near perfect bioweapon.
They're shining us on about stopping it... it will run it's course.
