For richer or poorer- An exploration in power

Some older photos of one of my favorite places to explore.

I had a chance to be reminded of some older shots I've had.

Pretty sure we all recognize it. From three different trips.

Certainly one of the larger and impressive spaces I've ever stepped foot in.

A friendly encouragement to all.

Practice some social distancing. And get into your favorite buildings!

Wow! That is a really awesome place! I haven't really been outside of southwest and Central Michigan... I've not see this one in real life. But the pictures are quite awesome.

Great photographs ... like always. What a great location.
Looks like a big cathedral for old technology. Love the
high ceilings and iron work.

Shit. This might be the best comprehensive set I have ever seen from here. I've been here multiple times and still never seen some of these angles.

No way. Generous comment. Thank you.

And thanks all.

I think, everyone wants the turbine room. Then the control room. At this point, both those areas are very heavily explored, But, the rest of this place is very under explored. There is so much infrastructure, and piping and vast craziness, that made this place work, that is very worth time and effort to document.

I even think. If I were to go here again. I wouldn't even step foot in the turbine area, and exclusively explore and photograph the "other" areas.

I mean, in the grand scheme of this monolith. The turbine room is very small. And, the rest is there to make it all work.
