Meanwhile in Pennsylvania...

Test the bitch for TB too.
This bs is happening other places stateside.
Guess the media pressure is making them pop like a shook up Pepsi.

Remember there are much worst pathogens than the kung flu that are stateside and infecting people.
They scare me... this one not so much.

Avoid the ER, hospitals and doctor's offices!
https://www.foxnew...tective-gear-tests
High fever, headache with no runny nose is probably a streptococcus or other dangerous bacteria infection; you will need the appropriate antibiotics.
If you can DX it, have the antibiotics carry on as you would and avoid high areas of infected ie anything medical.

Otherwise avoid injuring yourself.
Tape butterfly (crazy glue em if you know how) lacerations unless they need internal stitches.
In 10 years I've been to the doctor 3 times for severe infections I couldn't treat (can now).
Use your big brain and wherewithal or suffer...

You already said Asian lives are cheap, and now this. This sort of shit might be acceptable at the Mar-a-Lago locker room, but it is not cool on here. Cut it down.

ok.
Not feeling real sensitive to China right now and neither should you... especially living in SK.
China -could- have greatly mitigated the impact of this virus and worldwide death count.
TOO LATE!!!

Even though this is a naturally evolved virus that doesn't mean China didn't mistakenly choose to use it to test dispersal methods.
Effective dispersal is imperative for a biological agent to be effective. It is one of the hardest challenges of creating a bioweapon.

The US did the same thing in the late 50's during their bioweapons development.
They used a common and what they thought would be harmless bacteria. Some people with severe lung conditions died as a result. Only lawsuits brought this into the light.

The Chinese would have chosen this coronavirus strain because of it's naturally occurring and rare therefore trackable to test dispersal.
I'm not big on almost all conspiracy theories but this stands out to me like a sore thumb.
This is my own theory (didn't read about it) which may or may not be true.

Don't get me wrong, I probably hate the Chinese government more than you. But all the racist rhetoric is only feeding hate crimes against Asian people worldwide.

And China is at least taking effective actions now and getting the virus under control. I have several American friends living in China who are afraid to go back to the US right now.

Personally I am taking some of this enforced time out to completely overhaul and revamp the UK parts of the UER location database because it's hilariously outdated and lacking in places.

War is charged both in action and words.
No PC indecisiveness here; I learned from the Vets.
China is more an enemy than anything else.
We are at war with them to spite all the sweet talk and trade.

Any info coming out China is pure confabulated bs.
The coronavirus stats from the free world will back that up in another 2 months.
It will not be pretty... wait and see.

In my opinion China is a load of shit and I'm tired of being dump on by them.
Giving China trade/money has only made them more of a threat, cost the world trillions of dollars, enabled the theft intellectual property/military secrets and lose of freedom.

South Korea adopts 'no-tolerance' coronavirus quarantine policy, violators risk deportation, jail... be careful.

I realize that reprisals against Asian people are happening, but it's not universal.

There's ONE Chinese family in Jefferson, Iowa and they own the only good Chinese Restaurant I've ever found in Iowa. I don't get there very often and at present, they're only doing takeaway, but they say their business is as good as ever and don't feel threatened.

Besides, the woman that runs the show most of the time is kind of the no-nonsense type and she wouldn't sit back and take it.

Oops, didn't catch that drift... I'm referring to mainland China.
Loyal stateside US citizens are just that regardless of origin.
I have no animosity to US Chinese citizens.
It's completely insane to blame them unless they broke quarantine travelling back from China.

That's only for foreigners who are self-quarantined because they arrived from the US or Europe, or they have the virus and are not hospitalised. It's irrelevant to me at the moment. Also, what surge in cases are they talking about?

Unfortunately, it's very difficult to tell whether an Asian person is Chinese, Chinese-American, Taiwanese, South Korean, North Korean, Chinese-Korean, Russian-Korean, Korean-American, Japanese, Vietnamese, and so on, unless you're from a small town with only one Chinese family. Racists don't really care about all the nuance anyway, and just want to hurt someone they think is socially acceptable to hurt.

SK is your specialty... however doubt things are much better there than Italy. Once the virus gets a foothold it explodes.

I consider anyone stateside to be a US citizen... until proven otherwise.
Stateside Asians over the decades have never given me any real trouble even the American/Vietnamese bangers.

Even for free healthcare, that’s an awfully steep price (loss of personal freedom, living in fear of government, censorship, “social” credit scores, etc., etc.) to pay.
