UE is a hobbie that people make for different reason: curiosity, adrenaline rush, photography , loving history, exploring abandoned building .

Good text but you forgot Instagram followers and Youtube views.

Looking back I came across as a lot more condescending than I intended. Sorry about that :/

Hope your Spanish text went well! Learning a new language is a lot of work, but it really opens a lot of doors and helps you meet a lot of new people. I've been thinking about picking up a third language, though I have trouble motivating myself to do so.

Yeah it’s not always easy to pick a 3rd language but it you found a great teacher (not like me) it will be more easy and you will maybe find a way to motivate yourself

I feel like between you Canadian explorers and the Paris cataphiles French is the best second language for an explorer to learn if they want to travel and meet other explorers. Maybe I should try to pick it up someday...

well actually if your are looking to learn french be prepared it's a complex language but the speaking is easier to learn then the writing. So when you learn this language you can have a lot more doors that can open to you

Yeah, maybe one day. I just have trouble finding the time among all the other stuff I do.

Haha, I wish my french was good enough that it was my second language. I can read it alright but my writing is reeeeeeeeaaaal bad and I can barely speak it. Though if you learn quebecois french and go to Paris they'll probably bully you, and vice versa, so I've heard.
