***** Seriously..... Just a couple things to explore in the Great Lakes Region. Can't believe I can't see one already in existence. Well I suppose I'll just make one. Edit starting from page 16 in reverse found it on page like 5 or 6. My bad. https://www.uer.ca...=1&threadid=106699 LETS START THIS ...one... OFF RIGHT This spot was in MO but was all demolished within the last year. So Snooze you lose no offense. haha. But don't worry there's plenty of other amazing stuff to explore on this lovely planet of ours. 1.

I think the reason there is not a "PUBLIC" photo a day thread for this region is because this region of the country has the most elite explorers than any other region of the country. With Urbex Elitism comes extreme secrecy and location protection. So in order not to get flamed or screamed at by anybody within this region my advice is that you post shots that you strongly believe will not give away the location! Unless that is its one that is already blown up meaning very popular with tons of graffiti and been rusting away for over a decade. But if its top notch than in order to keep it top notch be cautious which pictures you choose to share here on this public thread .

There was one a while ago. I’m not sure why it hasn’t gotten posts in a while but I’m sure it’s still way down there somewhere.

I got bored...found it on page 10; started in 2013, and last entry 38 pages later in 2016... I'd bump it, but hell, new decade, nice new pics to start with on this thread (I'm originally from KCMO, I've done a bit of exploring there 😊). Anyway, thanks for sharing, Thinklikefreak; I'll have to dig up and add some of my Midwest pics. Oh, here's a link to the PotD I found: https://www.uer.ca...=1&threadid=106699

Hrmm...that bridge in #3 looks real familiar. If it's the one I'm thinking of, I and some friends had one night (in my high school days) had ended up here on a random drive, and walked about a third of the way across...until the train showed up, we'd assumed, given the age of the bridge, that they didn't use it. Fortunately it was slow moving, and on the tracks furthest from us...even got a wave from the engineer. Ahhh, youth😏 Nice shots by the way!

Finally made it to Gary this past weekend and managed to hit about 8 locations, obviously I hit this must see church. We also made a detour on the way home to check out a very cool old 50's diner that we heard may be open. Here is my photo a day contribution today.
