Hi everyone, I've recently gotten into urban exploring, and have been scouting out some locations however I don't have anyone to go with, so I've been going to some smaller locations like this by myself!
I'm in love with this tiny abandoned farm in northern Colorado. It's right next to a decent sized abandoned mine (pictured at the end) that I have been considering checking out when I can have someone go with me.
I don't have a camera yet, but I'm hoping that my phone camera did this justice and I'm happy to share these photos with you all.
Behind this door there were clothes and trash everywhere. Someone was probably squatting. Not pictured because it looked really gross.

Great first post... we like pics.
Going solo is fine but don't make mistakes you can't undo; same as if you're with others.
Solo means you are less visible and threatening if spotted which works in your favor.
98% or so of everything I've explored over the decades has been solo.
I prefer the stealth and solitude of it. No rush or distractions.
If shit goes south only one person to blame... you are 100% in control of the outcome.
It teaches you self reliance, an important survival skill.
Small steps at first; know when to bug out.
Take your time, think before you act and react correctly/fast enough in emergency predicaments.
Learn by doing...
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

Read as much as you here and learn from other's successes and mistakes.

Never drop your guard; every footstep and handhold count.
