Abandoned Drive In Movie Theatre full video

I have been to this abandoned drive in theatre a few times just to explore the property as the main building was always sealed up tight. I had a tip from another explorer that the building was now open so I headed there right away.
This 1 screen Drive-In was owned and operated for over 50 years. Over the years the Drive-In attracted many locals and cottagers. Back in the day they would easily fill the 500 car capacity lot and even turn people away. The changing technology and health issues have forced the closure of this theatre years ago. At the time the movies were changing to digital format and the projectors would have had to be replaced at a very high cost. With this and the decline of customers they closed the Drive-In.
While exploring this location there was a very old Safe. J.&J. Taylor Safe Works. They started building Safes in 1855 but closed in the 1920’s. The Safes were very heavy, bulky, fire and theft proof and were built to last. J.&J. Taylor was the most successful manufacturer of Safes in North America at this time. It looked like someone tried very hard to get into this Safe but failed. They ripped apart the top of the Safe to only find another thicker layer of steel inside.

Nice video. That projector room looked interesting.
