Framed in growth

I've noticed a theme in a lot of exterior shots I've been taking, and shots in general. Things here in Maui tend to get mobbed by overgrowth rather quickly.

So here's a short set of photos kind of framed by growth.

I know nature reclamation is a common UE theme.

I tend to like seeing others photos over my own, so I'd like to open it up to anyone if you have any nature reclaiming photos, or any interesting ways nature and industry collide.

Thanks for checking this out.

These are rad. I like the clear compositions.

No. 2 Reminds me of concept art from Lilo and Stitch. The artist Paul Felix did some wonderful drawings where things like cars are overrun by plants:

My image of Maui is built on this artist's interpretation of it, so it's cool that he seems to have gotten some things right.

Very nice!

I love the first shot. That poor car is totally swallowed up.

I'm waiting for the poison ivy stories...

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

Thank you so much!

I've seen more Kudzu than I ever thought possible (even here in the south), but fortunately, I have managed to avoid the poison ivy...so far...
