Hi, I'm new to the community and this is my first post! Where I grew up, there was this massive abandoned nursing home down my street (I think it was called Eldercare?). I used to explore it all the time as a kid, since it was basically a two minute walk away. It got demolished when I was 12. Right across the street from it there was another abandoned building, a gas station. The gas station is still standing, and it's been fun exploring it (I actually found a surf board someone had randomly stashed there!). I'd like to relive my memories of this massive building, but I can't find many pictures of it online. It's so strange, it's like a weird chunk of my childhood and I remember it very vividly, yet no one on here has ever talked about it and it looks like it isn't on the database (though I can only see portions of the DB, I'd think it would be displayed because it's defunct). Since it was defunct, I can tell you it was in the town of Forked River in New Jersey.

The one right next to the parkway off Lacey road? I’m assuming that was it cause I went there like 10 years ago through the roof. It was moldy as hell too so we didn’t stay long.

I turned up there once a few years ago and it was just an empty field. Its one of the few I missed.
