Posted by blackhawk The spinning log of the Navaho. It is considered good luck... long before the whiteman invaded their land and massacred them. At least we gave them some land and road signs with their symbol on them... 435852.jpg (5 kb, 120x144) https://apnews.com...used-for-swastikas *
The Navajo whirling log is a Vedic swastika: https://www.booksf...cans-swastika.html
It is a ^symbol^ of many things, nazis being the least of them. It is also a very ergonomic design for large buildings. All sides receive sun with multiple courtyards occupying as compact as space as possible which why you see it used. The nazis's didn't earn the right to own this symbol. They used it because it is a powerful symbol just like the eagle in their symbolism. Somehow the eagle fared better The ignorance surrounding this ancient symbol irritates me.
*lol, the writer of the first link made some mistakes as illustrated in the second link; the Navajo whirling log symbol is clearly a Vedic swastika.

The US Army 45th Infantry Division motif was a gold Swastika on a Red Diamond shape. Interestingly enough, that got changed to a Thunderbird. http://www.45thdiv...ToThunderbird.html

One of the building's I stayed in school looks like a swastika also. Reportedly the man who designed the building for my school was a Nazi architect as well 1.
Cheers, amazing Photos!
