Almshouse

The first time I visited this place, it was my last stop after a very long day. I came back feeling like I missed out on the better part of it. I finally made it back after many years to find it just as trashed as ever. The older buildings towards the back were well worth the trip though.

House of Industry

Dining Hall

Dormitory

Insane Pavilion

Infirmaries

Thanks for looking!

Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in.

Is that on an island by chance?

Everyone has a dark side, mines just a little more illuminated.

Looking past the graffiti, I see the beauty that was once there. When the building was just built it probably looked immaculate.

Those are some really nice pictures. The light color and angles really bring a lot of character to the site. I've always really enjoyed it when the sky goes bright orange in the evening.

These buildings had class for sure! The last photo is just the dining hall from a different angle. As for #2, I think your guess is about as good as mine. It was part of a large iron belt-driven contraption. The building it was in started its life as a laundry facility before being converted into a work room. Could be an old mangle or perhaps something for washing potatoes or the like.

If you're asking that, I think you've got it figured out!

What I remember most about this place is the huge black insects everywhere on the lower floors of some of the buildings. never did figure out what they were, very sketchy, but relaxing compared to the place across the street lol

I saw them here too, but it was years ago on my first visit. There were none this time. I did run into them again though, during this recent trip in a bunker that was part of a sea fort. They jumped on my head
