Just wanted to let everyone know that a very-well known and easy-to-access abandoned linseed oil factory in the west end of Toronto has been boarded up, and the makeshift ladder some explorers made to allow people to get in through the roof has also been removed. It's still fairly easy to climb onto the roof, but you'll need rope in order to use the hole in the roof to get down into the building.

You should draw a map of how to get in! That's about the only thing missing. Maybe a comic with a few panels?

There are few rules here but... 1. Don't reveal entry details publically. http://www.uer.ca/...1&fid=1&currpage=1
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

Guys, it's okay. That's place is literally an empty metal box... Not to mention it's publicly viewable on the UED...

I'm honestly surprised someone went to the effort of boarding it up...

It still had an intact toilet in 2012, which is kind of amazing for a place that's been vacant for 50+ years.

Did it flush?
"Sorry, I didn't know I'm not supposed to be here," he said, knowing full well he wasn't supposed to be there. |

There was a time when it was actually hard to get in. When I joined this website, a lot of people tried but couldn't get in. It wasn't for maybe another 4-5 years before it became easily accessible.

it has been boarded up since 2013 or 2014 with anti squat panels. It's not new. Since the bathroom/community space next door has been in use everyone is trying to ignore Linseed like the plague. It's owned by the city who planned to do something with it ages ago. I recognize some of your photos from other places online. I don't want to divert from the thread, but I have to say, my friends and I are fans of your work!
