Abandoned cement factory looking at a mountain in the distance. Background I found on this place is that it was used up until the 1960s. It has a pretty bad history after that with being the meeting place for a KKK cell who later were charged for a murder, and rumored to be used in satanic rituals as all abandoned places are. I have a ton of photos it was hard to choose. All shot on a Canon T6 Rebel with a standard lens.

I was there in February 2018. I didn't know it at the time (I actually found out by seeing footage in a PBS documentary about neo-Nazis), but in late 2017, the terrorist group Atomwaffen was there doing "training". We found empty shotgun shells everywhere, and all sorts of bullet holes, but thought nothing of it, and had a great time. After finding out that I missed Atomwaffen by a matter of about 2 months, I got really tripped out, and my memory of that spot is tainted. ...The documentary is Documenting Hate: New American Nazis. I watched for a sociology class, but it's worth seeing.
