Beautiful shots! 1967... was that when it was abandoned? I love the close ups of objects—little pieces of a forgotten life.

I knew this looked familiar...had to check my pics to be sure, but I've been here! My first thought about it was also a 'grandma and grandpa time capsule' house. Thanks for sharing, these are some gorgeous shots! That set of encyclopedias was a neat find, and I loved that set table and the piano.

Great shots! That place really looks like it’s frozen in time. Glad to see you’re posting more stuff again, everything you put out is great.

Nice time capsule and killer shots Any history on it? How long has it been sitting?
Just when I thought I was out... they pulled me back in. |

Cool set. That close up on the table is really nice!
Still working on it... Until then IG: @the_digital_cow |

Question - how was their no dust on the table that was set? Maybe I just can see in the picture, but wouldn't the glasses and plates have a covering of dust by now? If its been abandoned for over 50 yrs, no dust on the table setting makes me think that was one fastidious lady who wasn't going to let dust be on her table! Death would not stop her war on dust Ladies of that era had a really different approach to housekeeping and appearances. That house, abandoned or not, is cleaner than a lot of people's houses I know!

Thanks to all. I think the house went abandoned around 2010. The calendar probably became wall are at some point or was reused every 6-7 years

I agree with 1footinthegrave. Those dishes are suspiciously clean. Something like that would make me think someone is still living there.

God I hope no one was living there.

My friends and I set the table up when we first entered the house about 1 year ago. Before that, the china was in the cabinet.

But I suppose that even after a year, it should be dusty. Housekeeping, maybe.

Awesome set. I visited this place recently too! I think the owner of this place died in the late 70's and Ive heard it was used some as a hunt club.... nothing has changed here in a year or so. I also heard some children live close...
