More rural shots. This is mostly what I have been doing so far this year. Not many interiors because I don't find vandalized houses very interesting anymore. A mixture of digital and film. 1.
2. 1893 Schoolhouse
3. 1897 Church

#1 and #9 are fabulous!... I guess I'm naturally attracted to the really decrepit ones that are forested. It gives them more intrigue thinking that they're more secluded and perhaps more forgotten. Such a pain in the butt going to #7 and seeing nothing but cormorants sitting up on those lines. There's been a bald eagle pair hanging out there this year, which has been pretty cool. It's so great watching them make a comeback in Ontario.

Always love these sets!! Even if you aren't passionate about the vandalized homes, keep on shooting what you love... Because these sets are heartwarming, and nostalgic. <3

Great set Dave, did you go into #7? As small and simple as it is, that little church will always be one of my favourite spots in the province and I'll return every year until she's a heap up rubble!

Thank you. #1 really is buried in the forest. Nobody has lived there for a long time.

Thanks Dave. Yes, I went in. The floors are in terrible shape. It's one of my favorite spots too. I haven't posted any of those shots yet.

wow 4 and 9!!!
Kabbalah is an undramatic tradition that requires great patience and stability. One of the reasons for this tempo is that everyone has to mature his potential gradually and thoroughly at his natural pace. In this way his life's work unfolds at the right moment in his own and the cosmos's time. Z.B.S. Halevi -- Kabbalah |
